Hot-water extraction, shampooing, dry cleaning: what's the difference?
Hot-water extraction uses heated solution under pressure and pulls it back out with vacuum. Shampooing works foam into the pile with a rotary brush and suits heavily soiled commercial-grade loop, though it leaves more residue behind. How often should carpet be cleaned?

Do you move furniture, or should I clear the rooms myself?
We move sofas, chairs, coffee tables, dining sets and light dressers as part of the job, then set them back on blocks or protective tabs. We don't move pianos, large aquariums, wall units, media setups with wiring, or anything on a mounted bracket. If you'd rather we clean around a piece, that's fine, just say so during the walkthrough. Clearing small items, floor lamps and breakables off the carpet beforehand speeds everything up.

What will lift out of the fibers, and what is there to stay?
Food and drink spills, coffee, mud, grease, most pet accidents and general traffic soil usually come out or fade to where you stop noticing them. Harder cases include red dye drinks, wine, cosmetics and ink, and those depend on the fiber and how long they've been sitting. Permanent damage is a different category: bleach, benzoyl peroxide, harsh cleaners, sun fading and heat-set marks have removed the color from the fiber, and no cleaning brings that back. Is any of this a problem for pets or small kids?
No. Our solutions are water-based, low-residue and rinsed out during the extraction pass, so nothing sticky is left in the pile for crawlers or paws to pick up. Keep pets and children in another room while we're running hoses and equipment, mostly so nobody trips. Once the carpet is dry, the room goes back to normal use. If someone in the house has a specific sensitivity, tell us and we'll adjust the chemistry.

Can you handle couches, area rugs and tile too?
Yes. We clean upholstery, sectionals, dining chairs and mattresses, matching the method to the fabric code. Area rugs get cleaned in place when the backing allows, and wool or hand-knotted pieces are better off going out for proper immersion washing.
